András Nemescsói heads the Litigation and Regulatory group at DLA Piper Hungary since 2010. He has significant experience in both regulatory and administrative matters and is a high profile lawyer focusing on dispute resolution. He is experienced in investment (BIT based) international arbitration. His primary focus is on financial regulatory issues (stock exchange, clearing and settlement, banking and investment services) and EU subsidies. He has also been involved in several M&A transactions and public equity investments. Among others, his clients include some of the biggest international investment funds and key domestic and international players of the Hungarian financial markets. Before joining DLA Piper, he worked for the Hungarian Financial Supervisory Authority. András is a member of the Issuers’ Committee of the Budapest Stock Exchange and he has also been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hungarian Investor Protection Fund since 2016. His work on the field of capital markets covers ECM and DCM transactions, litigation and associated regulatory work. András and his team have been involved in all major IPOs on the Hungarian market in recent years.
