Luis is a partner of the Corporate, and Banking and Finance groups at Dentons’ Santiago office. Luis has broad experience advising Chilean and foreign companies, both closed and listed ones, which belong to industries like energy generation and transmission, seeds, pesticides, fertilizers, pharmaceutical and veterinary products, mining, manufacturing, and capital market. His advisory comprehends all the areas for their business in Chile and abroad, from the business formation and structuring to the drafting and negotiation process of complex principal agreements and ancillary documents. As part of the above, Luis advises different companies developing power generation and transmission projects, with extensive experience in drafting and negotiating complex agreements such as construction, operation and maintenance, interconnection and tolling, or power supply contracts. In addition, he participates actively in project finance, corporate finance, and acquisition finance, as well as in Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets.
