Christopher J. Kula is a partner in Dentons’ Corporate practice and focuses on advising investment managers and sponsors in connection with a wide variety of matters, including fund formation, structuring, governance, regulatory and compliance. His experience includes forming and structuring private funds (including master-feeder funds, parallel funds, blocker vehicles, “permanent capital” vehicles and co-investment vehicles), “funds of one”, joint ventures, special purpose vehicles and separately managed accounts that primarily pursue private equity, structured finance, private credit, real estate or venture capital investment strategies, as well as handling investment management agreements, side letters, “secondaries” transactions, investment adviser regulation, compliance matters, and investment management M&A matters for such clients. He received his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law, where he was Associate Editor of the Journal of International Business and Law (formerly, the International Law Digest), and received his B.S. from Villanova University. While in law school, Chris was a judicial intern for the Honorable Lawrence M. McKenna in the Southern District of New York
