Arin Aragona is a partner in Dentons’ Corporate, Private Equity and Cannabis practice groups. Arin assists clients with a broad array of legal services, especially mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, government regulation, business organization and reorganization, debt and equity investments, and capital raising. Leveraging his substantial in-house experience, Arin also provides general legal advice on all facets of clients’ businesses. Arin’s experience spans a variety of industries, including finance, alcohol, banking, cannabis, manufacturing, technology, real estate, energy, and agriculture, with clients ranging from small start-ups to large public companies. Prior to joining Dentons, Arin was general counsel and chief operating officer of a boutique private equity firm primarily focused on fragmented and emerging industries. Through this role, he gained unique insight and experience relevant to those in highly competitive industries and the broader private equity world. Arin intimately understands clients’ business goals and objectives and is able to anticipate needs and problems before they arise. He can assist businesses and investors with corporate governance, regulations, licensing, raising capital, business disputes, capital deployment, and restructuring work. Before his in-house experience, Arin was a partner at a Chicago based law firm, focusing on multi-billion-dollar complex commercial litigation, dispute resolution, government investigations, and highly regulated industries.
