Bio

Michael Dougherty is a Shareholder and a member of the Corporate group, where he focuses his practice on business and commercial transactions, such as business formation and capitalization, financing (representing institutional lenders, mezzanine lenders and corporate borrowers), joint ventures and other strategic relationships, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Michael is the former co-chair of the Cohen & Grigsby Business Services Group and serves on the Shareholders Council. Michael has represented individual and corporate clients in a wide range of industries, including private equity, manufacturing, industrial, chemicals, coatings and adhesives, supermarkets and convenience stores, energy, telecommunications, financial services, metal products and healthcare.
