Dwayne Isaacs Bio

Dwayne Isaacs is a member of Dentons' Corporate, Family Office and High Net Worth Sector and Mergers and Acquisitions practices, where he focuses on business and tax planning services for privately owned business, their owners and high-net-worth individuals. Dwayne acts as general counsel for many of his business clients, helping to review business opportunities and perform transactional work including mergers and acquisitions. He draws on his tax background and years of experience to provide strategic guidance to his clients on day-to-day operations and long-term business goals. He has extensive business succession planning experience and assists his clients with drafting and updating their estate plans. In the course of his close relationships with his clients and in acting as personal general counsel, he intimately understands his clients' family dynamics and often serves on his clients' advisory teams. In this role, Dwayne advises clients on matters including generational wealth transfer, investment due diligence and the acquisition or sale of assets. Dwayne has significant experience working with all entity types including corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships and tax-exempt organizations. Dwayne worked for one of the Big Four accounting firms before earning his law degree and maintains an "inactive" Certified Public Accountant license.
