C. William Phillips is a commercial trial lawyer with nearly four decades of trial experience. Will has tried cases before judges, juries and arbitrators across the country, in domestic and international matters. In the last dozen years, he has tried cases on behalf of the National Football League, Northrop Grumman, Barrick Gold Corporation, Commerzbank, the New York Nurses Association, the Bank of New York and others. Will has tried matters across a broad variety of subjects, including securities, corporate control, media rights, employment, trade secrets, construction, sports, banking, energy and insurance. Will has lost only one trial since 1997. He uses creative strategies, coupled with a deep involvement in the details of his matters and a highly competitive spirit, to attain a remarkable record of success for clients. Will is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a fellowship extended by invitation only and composed of the best of the trial bar from the United States and Canada.
