Sandy Grimm Bio

Sandy Grimm is a Partner in the firm’s Corporate & Tax practice group, where his practice focuses on corporate mergers and acquisitions, regulatory and licensing matters, antitrust recovery compliance, and commercial disputes. Before joining Burr, Sandy served as the Chief Legal Officer and Secretary at Southeastern Grocers, LLC (SEG), a supermarket chain with grocery and liquor stores across five states. During his tenure at Southeastern Grocers, Sandy managed all aspects of the legal department and was responsible for ensuring compliance with Public Company reporting, public debt reporting requirements and corporate governance. In addition, Sandy also held in-house counsel positions at Georgia-Pacific and Westinghouse Electric where he played pivotal roles in acquisition and divestiture activities. Additionally, Sandy was an Associate in the Technology Practice Group in the Atlanta office of Morris, Manning & Martin LLP.
