Chester Hosch is a Partner in the firm's Corporate and Tax Group with a focus on health care transactions, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, corporate finance and taxation. He also counsels clients in health care regulatory compliance, complex commercial transactions and securities matters. Chet’s legal experience includes numerous acquisitions and divestitures of businesses in several fields, including health care-related companies, technology ventures, chemical manufacturers, digital media enterprises, aerospace manufacturers, software companies and global trading enterprises. He has counseled medical device inventors, manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors and representatives in a variety of commercial transactions. He also works with durable medical equipment suppliers participating in federal healthcare programs. Chet counsels clients as to federal and state healthcare regulatory compliance and governance. He assists clients in a variety of industries in numerous public offerings, limited offerings and private placements. He has supervised reporting with the Securities and Exchange Commission, and state securities registration and compliance agencies. Chet has also counseled clients in dealing with consolidations, spinoffs, and splitoffs and represented corporate, partnership, and individual clients before federal and state tax authorities. Chet is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Chet is a frequent lecturer and author on a number of corporate and tax law topics and has spoken before organizations such as the Georgia Tax Forum, Georgia Society of CPA’s, the National Business Institute, and the Institute of Continuing Legal Education. Chet has contributed to publications such as Business Week and the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
