David Dennison is a Partner in the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation team in London. He advises on pensions law, advising trustees and employers in relation to the establishment and operation of their pension arrangements. This ranges from the merger of pension plans, to the winding up of pension plans, to ombudsman claims, to advice on benefit structures. He also deals with the pensions aspects of corporate mergers, acquisitions and reconstructions. David also advises on employee share plans and employee incentive arrangements. This ranges from long term incentive plans for major quoted companies to tax advantaged enterprise management incentive plans for start up companies. His work encompasses advice on anti-avoidance legislation relating to restricted and convertible shares as well as advising on all the HMRC tax advantaged plans. He has particular experience of dealing with the incentive aspects of mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.
