Albrecht Von Breitenbuch is a partner in our Berlin office and member of the Real Estate as well as the Corporate team. His practice with more than 15 years of experience focuses on transactions, joint-ventures, investments, restructurings and ongoing legal advice for domestic and international corporate clients, start-ups and emerging companies as well as public sector clients. As part of his real estate practice, Albrecht regularly works on large and complex portfolio and single asset transactions for investment funds, family offices and other institutional investors. Albrecht has broad experience with regard to general real estate law and relevant corporate and financing issues. In various real estate transactions and financings he regularly advises on the buying, selling or financing side. He also supports his clients in managing and developing or structuring their subsidiaries and the portfolio. As another focus, Albrecht works intensively for start-ups and emerging and high-growth companies with technology based business models as well as venture capital and private equity investors in such companies. Clients regular seek his advice on company formation, corporate law, financing and investment rounds as well as on aspects of general private and commercial law. He often speaks at seminars and workshops for founders and supports entrepreneurs as mentor. Albrecht is appointed notary with office in Berlin with a focus on both corporate and real estate related notarial work. Prior to joining the firm, Albrecht was a partner at an international law firm. Besides his German legal degrees including a doctorate degree of Humboldt-University of Berlin, he holds a Master’s degree (M.A.) in economics of Durham University in England. He is fluent in German and English.
