Jennifer Ihns Charles, a partner in the Firm’s Corporate Practice Group, has over a decade of experience advising on complex transactions. Jennifer represents domestic and foreign corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies in their mergers and acquisitions, other business and financial transactions, and in their day-to-day operations. She works with companies in a wide variety of industries, including transportation, life sciences, media, manufacturing and distribution, and networking and IT infrastructure. Jennifer has experience in structuring transactions and drafting and negotiating transactional documents in connection with asset sales and acquisitions, stock acquisitions, mergers, private placements, venture capital transactions, hedge funds, and lending transactions. In addition, she represents investors, issuers, lenders, and borrowers in their funding activities, including joint ventures and equity investments. Jennifer maintains an active pro bono practice through her work with various organizations including Lawyers for Civil Rights and the Lawyers Alliance. Jennifer speaks fluent Portuguese and conversational Spanish.
