John Myers practice focuses on a wide variety of commercial finance, corporate and commercial law matters, with an emphasis on representing institutional lenders, investors and businesses in commercial finance transactions (including project finance and asset based lending); creditors' rights and insolvency matters; and business acquisitions, dispositions, and debt/equity investments. John has significant experience with the Uniform Commercial Code, including Article 2 (sales), Article 5 (letters of credit), Article 8 (investment securities), and Article 9 (secured transactions). He served as a member of the Tennessee Bar Association/Tennessee Banker's Association, Joint Study Committee on Revised Article 9 of The Uniform Commercial Code. Further, John has lectured on various topics related to finance and business transaction matters. Prior to attending law school, John gained experience working in both the banking and healthcare industries.
