Bio

Michael Andreasen is a business law attorney with a focus on general corporate, mergers and acquisitions (“M&A”), finance, securities, venture capital, and private equity matters. His work includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various corporate contracts, assisting with securities law compliance, and providing support in areas of equity compensation, corporate governance, and investor relations. Michael’s clients include public, private, and startup companies in a diverse range of industries, including technology, life sciences, cannabis, sports, and hospitality. He has experience representing both buyers and sellers in M&A transactions, borrowers and lenders in debt financings, and companies and investors in equity financings. His clients often face problems or hurdles that don’t have obvious solutions, and Michael takes pride guiding them through complicated matters and finding viable, efficient, and practical solutions. His approach is to integrate himself as a valuable part of his clients’ teams, remaining responsive and reliable from start to finish. He has worked on both sides of the table in a full range of transactions spanning M&A, venture capital financing, early-stage, and general corporate matters. Michael is able to assist clients from inception all the way through an exit event, and every transaction he works on gives him a greater depth of experience for his clients to leverage. Michael previously served as corporate counsel at a medical diagnostics device manufacturer and service provider based in Waltham, Massachusetts, and worked at Northeastern University’s Venture Accelerator, assisting startup companies with navigating early-stage corporate and intellectual property matters.
