As chair of the firm’s Employee Benefits Practice Group, Douglas Dahl provides technical knowledge and practical advice to companies on a wide range of matters involving employee benefits and executive compensation arrangements, including qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and equity incentive plans. Doug regularly advises companies on employee benefit issues that arise in connection with various corporate transactions and events, such as mergers, acquisitions, and dissolutions. He currently represents companies in various interactions with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Department of Labor and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC), including correction programs and plan terminations.
