Michelle Carr Bio

Michelle Carr is a partner in the Corporate & Securities Practice Group of Baker McKenzie's Chicago office. Michelle is a corporate attorney with more than twelve years of experience acting as lead deal counsel to Fortune 500 companies and other multinational corporations in cross-border and domestic mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. She works across a range of industries, with a focus on life sciences and food & beverage transactions. She has significant experience guiding clients through complex multijurisdictional carve-outs involving global operations and significant transitional arrangements. She also advises clients on joint ventures, high stakes commercial agreements and other strategic arrangements.
