Bio

Saloni Joshi is co-chair of the Private Funds Team and a partner in the Investment Funds Group. She also leads the Secondaries Transactions and Solutions practice. She has over 25 years’ experience advising fund sponsors, asset managers, pension and investors private investment funds, secondaries, and private-equity-related transactions. Her clients include corporate and private investment funds and the representation of investors on all types of secondary transactions, including GP-led liquidity solutions, single-asset and multi-asset continuation vehicles, secondary direct transactions, and co-investments. Saloni provides counsel to many leading U.S. and European institutional asset managers and investors in private equity funds, including local government bodies, pension plans, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals. Saloni trained and qualified at a London Magic Circle law firm, practiced in London and Singapore, and has also practiced at two leading international U.S. law firms. She founded and operated her own private equity law firm for over 10 years and advised on a full spectrum of international private equity transactions. Saloni earned her LL.B. in European law with German from the University of Warwick. She regularly speaks at conferences and narrated a series of podcasts on the topic of general partner-led deals, structured solutions, and co-investment transactions.
