Bio

Randolph Moore is co-chair of Alston & Bird’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group. He focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, SEC compliance, corporate finance, and related strategic matters, with a particular emphasis on the financial services industry (including banks, investment advisers, broker-dealers, and insurance companies). He represents private and public companies, investment banking firms, and private equity groups throughout the country. Randy regularly provides advice to board members and management teams on structuring and negotiating complex corporate transactions, and represents companies and investment banks in public and private offerings of equity, debt, and hybrid securities. Randy is the chair of the firm’s Investment Committee, where he has served since 2011. He has also served in a variety of leadership positions during more than 25 years at Alston & Bird. He is a frequent author and speaker on matters relating to mergers and acquisitions, SEC reporting and compliance, securities regulation, corporate governance, and fiduciary duties of boards of directors. For four years, Randy was an adjunct professor at the Emory University School of Law and taught a mergers and acquisitions seminar to third year law students. Randy has been recognized in a number of independent publications as a leading national corporate attorney, including The Best Lawyers in America®, Chambers USA, and M&A Advisor.
