Elaine Tapp represents public and private companies and financial sponsors in a broad range of complex corporate and transactional matters, including acquisitions, divestitures, carveouts, and joint ventures, corporate financings, corporate governance, and other general corporate matters. Elaine was previously an associate in the New York offices of two leading international law firms, a research specialist at the SEC’s Division of Investment Management, and a financial analyst at a leading private equity and venture capital firm in Silicon Valley and Hong Kong. Elaine has been recognized for her M&A expertise in The Best Lawyers in America©. She serves on the board of directors of the Atlanta Classical Academy. She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School and her B.A. in international relations from Stanford University, where she graduated with honors and distinction and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
