Bio

David Park is a partner in Alston & Bird’s Financial Services Group. He focuses his practice on representing both public and private financial institutions in a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, corporate formations and restructurings, corporate finance and other strategic corporate transactions. David also regularly counsels companies on regulatory and corporate issues, including SEC reporting and compliance requirements and general corporate governance matters. Fluent in Korean, David advises multinational and Korean-based international companies on a range of corporate and strategic matters, including leading board meetings and executive sessions in both Korean and English. Before joining Alston & Bird, David worked at two leading Korean law firms and at the SEC’s Office of International Affairs. He received his J.D., with honors, from George Washington University Law School and his joint M.A., magna cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles, and Korea University.
