Jason Glennon Bio

Jason focuses on all aspects of investment management, with an emphasis on the structuring, formation, fundraising and ongoing operations of investment funds, including hedge funds, credit funds, private equity funds, real estate funds, hybrid funds, funds of funds and co-investment funds. He leads fund formations, joint venture negotiations, separately managed account negotiations and investor representations for many large alternative investment managers, sovereign wealth funds and other institutional investors. Jason is a go-to resource for complicated fund structures, sophisticated Investment Company Act matters and complex real estate joint ventures. He plays a key role in matters involving regulated fund products, including business development companies and employees’ securities companies. He also advises investment managers, companies, operators, sponsors and institutional investors concerning corporate and other transactional matters, including advising investment managers on the acquisition of other investment managers. In addition, Jason advises investors regarding their investments in investment funds and separately managed accounts. Jason also advises investment managers on their internal structuring and negotiates seeding and GP stakes transactions. In particular, he has significant experience advising sovereign wealth funds making seed or anchor investments in business development companies and their advisers.
