Daniel Wayte Bio

Daniel advises on a wide range of complex equity and special situations transactions across the capital structure, with a focus on preferred equity, other hybrid capital solutions and joint ventures. He has particular experience of asset-backed finance investments, including litigation finance, real estate finance and consumer finance and alternative capital opportunities in the technology, energy and infrastructure sectors. He leverages over 20 years’ experience across many industry sectors and a full spectrum of private and public equity transaction types, including public and private M&A, joint ventures, minority and growth equity, structured/preferred equity and special situations. Prior to joining Akin, Daniel has been a Partner at another leading international law firm.
