Alexander Cushman Bio

Alexander represents a wide range of special situations funds, private equity firms, global asset managers, other strategic investors and their portfolio companies on the full spectrum of complex corporate transactions. Focusing on the corporate and equity aspects of transactions, Alexander advises on special situations, public and private company acquisitions, financings and dispositions, joint ventures (JV) and other general corporate and governance matters. Alexander has significant experience assisting clients during every stage of a transaction, including providing counsel on negotiating and structuring deals, as well as the ongoing operation of companies and business combinations. With clients across sectors, Alexander represents hedge funds, private equity firms, private credit and special situation funds, public companies and aviation lessors. Prior to joining Akin, Alexander was a partner in the mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and special situations practice of another international law firm based in New York.
