Michael joined Shea & Company in 2012, bringing with him nearly 20 years of experience in investment banking and software. Prior to joining Shea & Company, Michael was a Managing Director and Head of the San Francisco office for the Morgan Keegan Technology Group, which he joined via the acquisition of Revolution Partners. Michael had previously served as an executive in IBM’s WebSphere Division, which he joined through IBM’s acquisition of Trigo Technologies, which Michael helped build to profitability and $40MM in revenue. Michael has also worked in the technology M&A practices of Credit Suisse, Deutsche Morgan Grenfell and Morgan Stanley. Michael received a B.A. in Political Economy and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley.
