Bio

Hershel Gerson is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Consumer Investment Banking at ROTH Capital Partners. Prior to joining ROTH Capital Partners in 2020, Mr. Gerson was the CEO and Managing Director at ELLO Capital. Prior to joining ELLO, he was a Managing Director leading Consumer Coverage at Macquarie Capital focused on Food and Beverage, HPC and Restaurant sectors and prior to that was the West Coast Team Leader for BNP Paribas’ Merchant Banking Group. Mr. Gerson began his investment banking career at Credit Suisse in Los Angeles, where he spent approximately 10 years initially within the Financial Sponsors Group and later leading West Coast Retail and Consumer Coverage. He graduated from University of Texas in Austin with a BBA and Masters in Public Accounting and received his MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA.
