Helen Meates Bio

Helen Meates is a Partner and Chief Financial Officer at PJT Partners. She joined in January 2015 and serves as a member the Firm’s Management Committee. Prior to joining PJT Partners, Ms. Meates was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, where she spent over 22 years, working mostly in Global Capital Markets. During her tenure at Morgan Stanley she served as Deputy Head of Global Capital Markets and co-Chair of the firm’s Capital Commitment Committee. Ms. Meates was born in New Zealand. She received a law degree (LLB) from Canterbury University in New Zealand and an MBA with honors from Columbia Business School. She serves on the boards of the SMA Foundation, the Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival and Play Rugby USA.
