Scott Steel Bio

Scott is a managing director and a member of the Morgan Stanley Investment Management Operating Committee. He joined Morgan Stanley Investment Management in 2024 after spending a decade as the chief operating officer of Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management Investment Solutions organization, which included the development, sourcing, onboarding, distribution and servicing of all investment products and solutions across Wealth Management. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Scott worked at Merrill Lynch where he was an investment banker in the Financial Institutions Group as well as the head of several business strategy teams in investment banking and wealth management. He has over 20 years of financial services experience. Scott has a BS in finance from Villanova University. He is a member of the Villanova School of Business Deans Advisory Council and a member of the Augustinian Province of St. Thomas of Villanova Investment Committee.
