Bio

Frederik Wijsenbeek is a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley and is based in New York. Mr. Wijsenbeek joined Morgan Stanley in 2015 and has 23 years of private equity experience across Europe and North America, with deep expertise in leading, structuring and executing complex transactions. He was responsible for the successful completion of 20 transactions across the Business Services, Financial Services, Education, TMT, Consumer and Industrials sectors. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Frederik was a Director and the Head of European Direct Private Equity at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan and a Partner at Bregal Capital. He started his career at Securitas Capital, a private equity joint venture between Credit Suisse and Swiss Re. Mr. Wijsenbeek earned a B.A. (with University Distinction) from Stanford University and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Olympia, New Vision Pharmaceuticals and Game Nation.
