Bio

Eric Kanter is a Partner of Morgan Stanley Capital Partners (MSCP) and is based in New York. Mr. Kanter joined Morgan Stanley in 2003 and has been a member of MSCP since 2007. He was previously a Vice President in the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions Group. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Kanter was an Associate at Ryan Enterprises Group, the private equity firm for the Patrick G. Ryan family. He began his career as a Management Consultant at A.T. Kearney. He serves on the board of directors of Smile America Partners, Comar and PPC Flexible Packaging and AWT Labels & Packaging, and previously served on the board of directors of Tops Markets. Mr. Kanter holds a B.A. from Northwestern University and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
