Bio

Mr. Martínez-Fidalgo is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Financial Restructuring, EMEA and Asia, at Houlihan Lokey. He is based in the firm’s London office. Since joining the firm in 2003, Mr. Martínez-Fidalgo has advised on a broad range of financial restructuring, distressed, and litigious engagements globally, working for debtors, creditors, shareholders, and new money providers in both in-court and out-of-court processes. Mr. Martínez-Fidalgo holds a BBA from Universidad de Oviedo and graduated with honours from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business MBA program. He speaks fluent Spanish and French as well as conversational German. Mr. Martínez-Fidalgo was named in Financial News’ 2011 “40 Under 40 Rising Stars in Investment Banking.” Mr. Martínez-Fidalgo sat on the board of Codere (gaming operator across Latin America, Spain, and Italy listed in Madrid) from 2016 to 2021.
