Scott Bok Bio

Mr. Bok is our Chairman, having previously served as Chief Executive Officer for 16 years and earlier as Co-President. Scott joined Greenhill as a Managing Director in February 1997. Prior to joining Greenhill, Scott was a managing director in the mergers, acquisitions and restructuring department of Morgan Stanley, where he worked from 1986 to 1997, based in New York and London. From 1984 to 1986, he practiced mergers and acquisitions and securities law at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York. Scott holds a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a BS in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Scott serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the American Museum of Natural History. He previously served as Chair of both the University of Pennsylvania and Prep for Prep.
