Stephen Strange has 25 years of professional experience working with airlines and aerospace companies to strengthen their commercial strategy. Mr. Strange has deep experience advising airline clients in their fleet strategy, ranging from fleet planning through aircraft acquisition support. In his time as an aviation industry advisor, he has worked for more than 60 different clients in every geographic region. His work spans commercial strategy, growth and turnaround plans, due diligence for investors and operational improvement. Prior to FTI Consulting, Mr. Strange was a managing director with Seabury Consulting at Accenture for more than 16 years. He led each of the company’s aircraft acquisition engagements from 2009 through 2022. In this role, he regularly assisted clients in all aspects of the complex aircraft acquisition process, including negotiation strategy, request for proposal (“RFP”) management, detailed financial analysis and contracting support, inclusive of representing airline clients at the negotiating table with airframe and engine original equipment manufacturers (“OEMs”). Mr. Strange has routinely led commercial strategy engagements for dozens of airline clients, developing robust solutions for network growth, optimal fleeting solutions, business cases for fleet replacement and creating long-term fleet plans. He regularly advises aviation and aerospace companies, including each of the major aviation OEMs, on product strategy and market forecasting. Prior to starting his advisory career, Mr. Strange worked for Boeing and Boeing Capital Corporation for six years in a variety of finance and strategy roles.
