Lincoln Eckhardt is a Senior Managing Director in the Forensic & Litigation Consulting segment and is based in New York. Mr. Eckhardt is co-leader of the Cannabis practice and specializes in valuation and determining economic damages in the cannabis industry. Mr. Eckhardt is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (“ASA”) in business valuation, a Certified Valuation Analyst (“CVA”) and a Master Analyst of Financial Forensics (“MAFF”). He provides analysis and expert testimony in complex disputes as well as performing valuations for purposes of transactions, capital raises, corporate planning, financial reporting, disputes and litigation. Mr. Eckhardt has led numerous engagements involving the valuation of businesses, ownership interests, and intangible assets for mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, pre-IPO analyses, corporate planning, financial reporting and litigation. Mr. Eckhardt uses his experience in valuation, accounting, and finance to provide analysis and expert testimony in disputes involving breach of contract damages, breach of fiduciary duty claims, shareholder oppression claims, appraisal rights, intellectual property infringement damages, business interruption and destruction, among others. Mr. Eckhardt is qualified as an expert witness and has provided expert testimony in court, private arbitration panels and deposition. Mr. Eckhardt frequently speaks and writes on matters relevant to the cannabis industry. Mr. Eckhardt holds B.A. from Whitman College and an M.B.A. from Portland State University.
