Katherine Howard is a leading, trusted financial and strategic advisor to the government and private clients in the infrastructure, energy transition and financial services sectors. Katherine is an international executive and trusted advisor with extensive experience in multiple sectors, geographies and disciplines. With more than 25 years of experience, Katherine has led multibillion-dollar mergers, acquisitions, greenfield and brownfield projects, cross-border transactions, major portfolio debt and equity financings, restructuring, valuations and advisory projects. She has also been a board member for Sydney Airport, an Advisory Panel Member for the Australian Renewable Energy Agency for over seven years and Chair of the global Audit Committee for the Movember Foundation. She was lead advisor on the $30 billion merger between First State Super (now Aware Super) and Health Super, creating the third-largest super fund in Australia at the time and the establishment of the Clean Energy Financing Corporation. Katherine has significant experience in the infrastructure sector (particularly energy) in Australia, the United States and Canada, advising on large complex transactions, unlisted and listed funds and transformational mergers and acquisitions. She has developed industry specialisations in financial services, insurance, real estate, private equity, telecom, media and technology, healthcare, government, agriculture, airline and aviation, transportation and logistics, diversified industrials, construction, projects and assets and country risk.
