At DPP, Mr. Bernard specializes in merger and acquisition transactions, valuations, financial and strategic advisory, fairness opinions, and due diligence services for the automotive, manufacturing, distribution, and service industries. Prior to joining DPP, Mr. Bernard was an Analyst at Ford Trading Company, the export arm of Ford Motor Company, where his responsibilities included credit analysis, risk management, and ad hoc analysis of various operating and financial queries. Previous to his position at Ford Trading Company, Mr. Bernard was a Summer Analyst with the DPP Auto & Truck team, where his responsibilities included performing strategic and financial analysis, developing marketing materials, and managing due diligence for merger and acquisition transactions. Mr. Bernard earned a B.A. degree from the University of Notre Dame with major in History and a minor in business and economics. Additionally, Mr. Bernard earned his M.B.A. from the University of Detroit Mercy. Mr. Bernard also has his Series 63 and 79 licenses with FINRA.
