Kumar Mahtani Bio

Kumar Mahtani is a Partner based in Mumbai and leads the Industrials sector in India. He joined BDA in 2011 and has advised on several transactions. He advised Terex on divestment of their Indian construction equipment business to Manitou, EQT on divestment of TitanX to Tata Autocomp, Omnova Solutions on divestment of their Indian chemicals business to Apcotex Industries, Larsen & Toubro on divestment of their plastic machinery business to Toshiba Machine, ICICI Venture and Wockhardt on the sale of Radiant Research to Kinderhook Industries. Before joining BDA, he worked for KPMG in Mumbai. Mr. Mahtani is qualified as a Chartered Accountant from Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants and has graduated from HR College of Commerce & Economics in Mumbai. He is fluent in English and Hindi, and speaks basic Sindhi.
