David joined Aramar Capital Group as a Managing Director in 2008. He brings more than 25 years of finance and operations experience. His investment banking experience covers a broad range of M&A, capital raising, and industry expertise. David has successfully completed over a hundred transactions throughout his career for both privately-owned businesses and public companies representing billions of dollars. David started his career in the investment banking group at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and subsequently worked in the investment banking groups at Ladenburg, Thalmann & Co. Inc., where he first met Jeff Lehman, as well as Prudential Securities Incorporated and CIBC World Markets Corp. David has structured, negotiated, and executed numerous types of transactions including buy- and sell-side M&A transactions, private and public equity financings, debt financings, and restructurings across a broad array of industries, including consumer products, media, gaming, real estate, restaurants, retail, manufacturing, technology, banking, finance, and insurance. The operations experience David earned comes from having served as the Director of Financial Planning and Treasurer for Digital Commerce Corporation, a business-to-government e-commerce solutions provider. In addition, he built, owned, and operated a chain of Ben & Jerry’s scoop shops in New England. David received a B.A. in Economics from Wesleyan University. He was born and raised in New York City and now splits his time between the neighborhood in which he grew up and the Westchester suburbs. When not driving his son and daughter to activities, he can be found watching the Yankees, grilling dinner on the BBQ, or attending a concert. David likely holds the distinction of being the only New York investment banker who enjoys country music.
