Samih Hajar Bio

Samih Hajar is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Global Transaction Advisory Group in Paris. He specializes in transaction services engagements and audit assignments for corporate and private equity clients. Mr. Hajar has worked with clients across a range of industries, including technology, consumer, retail and manufacturing. With more than 13 years of experience, Mr. Hajar has worked on 100+ buy- and sell-side engagements, assisting clients on financial due diligence and sales and purchase agreement advisory.  He brings extensive cross-border transaction experience across the U.S., Europe and the Middle East. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Hajar served with the transaction services department of a Big Four firm in Paris, where he led transaction engagements. Before specializing in transaction services, he spent two years with a Big Four firm’s audit department. Mr. Hajar earned an MBA from HEC Paris and a master’s degree in finance from Toulouse Business School. He is fluent in French, English and Arabic.
