Nicole Bouquet is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Transaction Advisory Group in Washington, D.C. She specializes in evaluating risk and assessing value creation opportunities across business lifecycle phases and business functions. Her primary areas of concentration are ESG strategy and reporting, data management and performance improvement and ESG investment theory and implementation. With more than 18 years of experience in the ESG space, Ms. Bouquet is focused on the quantified business case of ESG, which enables business leaders and stakeholders to capitalize on sustainable business opportunities in a measured fashion and eliminate risk through innovation and strong management practices. Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Bouquet spent five years incubating new ESG consulting practices within the ISS Corporate Solutions and Apex Companies businesses, respectively. Before entering consulting, she spent over 10 years with MSCI in a variety of roles from operations to sales management, assisting with the development of ESG data and research and later working with large institutional investors with ESG data integration. Additionally, Ms. Bouquet brings deep ESG expertise across a range of material topics across public and private markets. Her experience has included working with both institutional and private equity investors to integrate ESG into the investment process through data management and portfolio company value creation. Ms. Bouquet has also served the corporate market working on strategy projects with Fortune 500 and privately held companies, which have included establishment of ESG programs, reporting projects, data management and stakeholder engagement among other ESG solutions. Ms. Bouquet earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Towson University and an MBA from The American University, Kogod School of Business. She is a level I FSA holder and has completed the Climate Bond's Green Bond Training. Additionally, Ms. Bouquet has been active in the ESG space with publications in Ethisphere Magazine; industry speaking opportunities with organizations such as NIRI and NAEM; and media engagements with outlets such as The Wall Street Journal.
