Mónica García Bio

Mónica García is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Transaction Advisory Group in Madrid. Ms.García brings ten years of experience in M&A transactions, focusing on advising clients on buy- and sell-side financial and integrated due diligence projects. She has experience across all phases of deal execution, including pre-acquisition buyer and seller due diligence, assistance with purchase agreements and post-transaction purchase mechanisms. Ms. García has worked with private equity firms and corporate clients across various industries, including consumer goods and retail, education, industrial manufacturers, healthcare, technology and infrastructure. Prior to joining A&M, Ms. García was Associate Director for KPMG on the transaction advisory team. She served on a secondment to Permira in Spain for three years, focusing on deals for private equity firms. Ms García was part of the investment team when it acquired Universidad Europea, Neuraxpharm and New Immo Group. Ms. García earned a BBA from Universidad San Pablo CEU and Boston University and a master’s degree in audit, accounting and business management from ICADE.
