Kathleen Voss Bio

Kathleen Voss is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement in Los Angeles. She brings more than 15 years of experience in technology, media, entertainment and telecommunications industries, specializing in synergy assessments, Day 1/Day 100 phases and leading post-merger integration efforts for complex transactions. Ms. Voss’ primary areas of concentration include process improvement, operational effectiveness and automation. Her notable engagements include leading cross-functional synergy and productivity assessments for transactions ranging from $550 million to $20 billion, including labor and non-labor synergies for organizations of varying size and complexity. She leads integration planning for back-office functions with disparate capabilities, including maturity assessment, Day 1/Day 100 planning and operational transformation. Additionally, Ms. Voss leads separation planning for complex carve-out transactions with significant reliance on matrix organizations, including negotiation of transition services agreements. She has also been involved in integrating public-to-private and private-to-public transactions, including reporting and compliance activities, designing internal audit structures and streamlining close processes. Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Voss was an Engagement Manager with the Comcast Assurance and Advisory Team, serving as a trusted advisor for management at Comcast Corporate, Comcast Cable and NBCUniversal. In this role, she led cross-functional teams solving complex business challenges while managing organizational risk; performed financial due diligence; and provided merger integration support for transactions of varying size and complexity. Previously, Ms. Voss was a member of PwC’s Assurance practice, serving Fortune 100 public and large privately-held global companies. Her primary clients consisted of a Fortune 100 consumer products distributor and multinational privately-held manufacturer and distributor of technology products. While in this role, Ms. Voss scrutinized back-office functions from a financial perspective and evaluated the efficiency and effectiveness of the organizations’ internal controls. Ms. Voss earned a BBA from California Baptist University. She was nominated by Comcast Corporation for consideration as one of Women in Cable Television’s 2015 Rising Leaders in Cable.
