Juan Carlos Ramírez Bio

Juan Carlos Ramírez is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Global Transaction Advisory Group in Madrid. His primary areas of focus are performing due diligence reviews (sell- and buy-side), recapitalisation operations advisory and business plan reviews for private equity firms and industrial investors. With more than 13 years of transaction advisory experience, Mr. Ramírez has been involved in over 120 M&A transactions. He has spent three years in A&M’s office in London, serving clients from the U.S., U.K. and continental Europe in cross-border transactions. Mr. Ramírez has worked with clients across various industries, including software, healthcare and manufacturing, mainly in European and Latin American markets. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Ramírez spent over eight years with Deloitte’s Financial Advisory Service department in Madrid and Colombia, where he served as Manager. Mr. Ramírez earned a bachelor’s degree in business and economics from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas in Madrid, a master’s degree in Audit and Executive Development from ICADE Business School, and an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid.
