Jens Sandstrom Bio

Jens Sandstrom is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement in Stockholm. Mr. Sandstrom brings extensive transaction experience, including pre- and post-deal assignments, performance improvement, transformation, commercial- and operational due diligence, carve-outs and post-merger integration. Additionally, Mr. Sandstrom has worked across a range of industries, including Pharma, consumer healthcare, pharmacy retailing and life science. He brings experience in consulting, line management and investment and board work. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Sandstrom ran his own consulting company, where he worked with Big Pharma and PE firms. Most recently, he spent two years managing Pharma operations for Viatris and for MTR as an interim Head of Program Management and Operations Development. Previously, Mr. Sandstrom spent six years with Booz Allen Hamilton, where he worked across a range of industries, often with PE firms. He also worked in a few Nordic consulting companies, among others within retail and digital strategy and transformation. Mr. Sandstrom earned a BBA (concentration in economics) from the University of Linkoping and a master’s degree in international business from Lund University.
