Jeffrey Liddle is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement in Houston. His main areas of concentration are finance and accounting improvement, liquidity management, process improvement and system implementation. Mr. Liddle’s notable assignments include a finance and accounting diagnostic, where he identified several opportunities for improvement and created a roadmap to mature an electrical manufacturer and distributor to a performing state; a private equity transition, where he helped a family-owned company that was facing liquidity issues improve their cash management processes after being acquired by a PE firm, which included a 13-week cash flow model and revamping how they managed vendors; and evaluating the past project performance for a mid-stream construction company to identify opportunities for improvement, helping implement several changes to the bidding and estimating processes, project management tools and change order practices. Additionally, Mr. Liddle streamlined the financial and non-financial processes for a portable restroom company, cutting approximately $2.4 million per year in shared services costs. In another assignment, he created a custom business intelligence solution, working with executives to define and build the set of key performance indicators and corresponding reports that were used to manage their respective product lines. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Liddle spent the bulk of his career in various roles advising companies, primarily in the energy industry. Mr. Liddle earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Trinity University in San Antonio and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas.
