Bio

Vamsi Nadimpalli is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Services group in Chicago. He brings more than 15 years of technology and leadership expertise, focusing on product technology and management. As a former Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with years of experience in transactional advisory services, Mr. Nadimpalli uses his deep involvement in technical architecture, due diligence, integration planning, organization design, and process improvement to advise private equity firms and their portfolio companies. He has deep experience in management and technology consulting, specializing in optimizing technology landscapes with a focus on scalability to reduce overall run-rate costs. Mr. Nadimpalli has proven results in assessing risk in proprietary software focused on investment goals and internal rate of return (IRR). He is expert at assessing technical platforms, R&D organizations, and processes for scalability, security, and maintainability risks. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Nadimpalli worked in industry as a CTO and VP Engineering and was responsible for all aspects of technology and engineering, including managing spend and implementing formalized development processes and pipelines for R&D efficiency and transparency. He worked closely with other members of executive leadership teams to plan product roadmaps, including architectural design and resource allocation for product lines. Mr. Nadimpalli has overseen architecture and development of multiple platforms, including a daily fantasy sports mobile application and a custom payment scheduling system to replace a third-party system for collecting client payments. Mr. Nadimpalli earned a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master’s degree in software engineering from Loyola University, Chicago.
