Tracy Sennett is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement in Chicago. She specializes in pre-acquisition operational and information technology diligence, post acquisition performance improvement and merger integration in support of private equity investments. Ms. Sennett’s primary areas of concentration are IT infrastructure, IT organization and evaluating core business systems’ ability to meet operational needs. She brings over 20 years experience in the manufacturing, financial, communications, insurance, transportation and healthcare industries. Ms. Sennett’s experience includes providing IT pre-acquisition due diligence for M&A projects on behalf of private equity firms and corporate clients. She has also worked extensively with large corporate clients on IT transformation, business process re-engineering, custom and packaged application design integration and program management. Post-transaction, Ms. Sennett provides support to clients related to system/infrastructure integration and separation planning and synergy achievement. She has also served in interim leadership roles, such as Chief Information Officer. Recently, Ms. Sennett has been involved in the private equity pre-acquisition IT due-diligence for multiple global manufacturing and distribution firms (e.g., food processing, aluminum and metal) and assessing opportunities for ERP consolidation. Additionally, Ms. Sennett has supported the pre-acquisition IT due-diligence for multiple healthcare providers (e.g., dentistry, OB-GYN and dermatology), identifying key IT risks, issues and incremental spend; supported a private equity carve-out IT due-diligence identifying reductions in operating expense, key IT risks and issues and pro forma adjustments; and supported a private equity pre-acquisition IT due-diligence for a technology consulting provider to identify synergies with exiting portfolio companies, IT risks and issues and incremental spend. Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Sennett held leadership positions with Cingular Wireless and AT&T Wireless. Ms. Sennett earned a BBA from Albright College and an MBA from Hofstra University.
