Bio

Torbjörn Månsson is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement practice in Stockholm. He brings more than 30 years of experience in consulting, investment banking and has held operating, CEO and board level roles. Mr. Månsson’s primary areas of concentration are pre- and post-acquisition work for private equity and strategy and performance improvement in corporate settings. He has worked with clients in various industries across the Nordics and Europe, including industrial goods, financial services, logistics, consumer goods and retail, business services, tech and the public sector. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Månsson spent 18 years with Bain & Co, where as a Partner he focused primarily on private equity and performance Improvement. Previously, he spent four years with the Slovenian Bank Asset Management Company as CEO and Board Director; three years with Swedbank as Global Head of Corporate Finance; and four years with Implement Consulting Group as Senior Partner and CEO of the Swedish business. Mr. Månsson earned a master’s degree in economics and business administration from Stockholm School of Economics, Sweden & Keio Business School, Japan. He is a member of Handelshögskoleföreningen and he chairs a premium interior decorating retail business, NK Inredning, and the Swedish association for continental pointers (SKF). A Swedish national, Mr. Månsson is fluent in Swedish and English.
