Tim Wang Bio

Tim Wang is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Global Transaction Advisory Group in Shanghai. Mr. Wang brings nearly 12 years of experience in transaction services. His primary areas of concentration are buy- and sell-side financial due diligence, negotiation support, and other transactions-related advice. Mr. Wang has worked with clients across various industries, including consumer goods and retail, e-commerce and logistics, education, SaaS, manufacturing, agriculture, and energy and mining. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Wang spent nearly years doing financial due diligence, IT due diligence and valuation with PwC and EY, covering a wide range of industries. He served both PE clients and strategic corporate investors. Mr. Wang earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. He is a member of Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountant (CICPA) and CFA charter holder.
