Bio

Mr. Keneally specializes in operational improvement and supply chain management in a variety of industries including manufacturing, textiles, paper and packaging, retail and consumer products, energy and automotive segments. With more than 17 years of consulting and industry experience, Mr. Keneally brings significant expertise in leading cross-functional initiatives focused on delivering corporate objectives and bottom-line results in supply chain management, supplier relationship management and lean manufacturing process areas. Mr. Keneally has held a variety of interim management roles, including Interim COO, VP-GM, VP of Operations and Plant Manager. His experience includes manufacturing and distribution footprint rationalization, developing lean manufacturing operating models, demand and supply planning, collaborative supply chain strategies, outsourcing strategy development, component material lead time reductions, inventory optimization, manufacturing efficiency improvement, freight optimization, and the selection and implementation of supporting ERP and supply chain IT systems. While at Alvarez & Marsal, Mr. Keneally most recently served as the Interim Chief Operating Officer for a Private Equity-owned $300 million automotive fuel pump and filter supplier, where he was responsible for leading operational turnaround efforts related to footprint rationalization, precision machining, assembly, and shop floor quality and throughput. While serving as the Interim COO, Mr. Keneally successfully reduced the backlog from $16 million to $2.6 million, improved on time deliver from 25 percent to 92 percent, improved EBITDA from 12.7 percent to 17.7 percent and reduced scrap from 4 percent of COGS to 1.7 percent of COGS. Previously, Mr. Keneally was the Vice President/General Manager of the Commercial Division of a leading manufacturer and marketer of a leading injection molding and decorative plastics company. As VP / GM, Mr. Keneally was responsible for five manufacturing facilities, sales, engineering, purchasing, planning and logistics. In addition, Mr. Keneally was the Vice President of Global Operations for a leading manufacturer and marketer of geosynthetic lining products and services with a worldwide presence. As VP of Global Operations, he was responsible for eight manufacturing facilities, purchasing, planning and logistics. As leader of the operations in a turnaround, Mr. Keneally successfully cut more than $7 million in cost through plant consolidation, material cost reduction and manufacturing efficiency improvement while improving quality globally. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Keneally was a Manager in the Manufacturing Industry Group at Capgemini Consulting leading engagements within the paper and packaging, textiles, diversified manufacturing and automotive industries. Previously, he was a Manager in a consumer goods packaging manufacturing facility at Fort James Corporation, where he held a variety of roles from converting floor supervisor, department manager, business process improvement manager and operations manager. Mr. Keneally earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and systems engineering from the United States Military Academy and a master’s degree in business administration in supply chain management and finance from the Eli Broad Graduate School of Management at Michigan State University.
