Ryan Duffy is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Global Transaction Advisory Group in Chicago. He specializes in providing buy- and sell-side financial due diligence services for private equity and strategic buyers. At A&M, Mr. Duffy has worked out of both New York City and London office locations, providing financial due diligence advisory services to U.S. and EMEA clients on over 40 cross border transactions across a wide range of sectors. Mr. Duffy brings experience working across several industries, notably in the consumer, business and professional services, real estate and industrial products sectors (i.e., manufacturing, distribution, building products and retail). He has coordinated and led 150+ financial accounting due diligence projects. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Duffy was a Senior Associate with the Audit and Enterprise Risk Services practice of Deloitte & Touche in New York. His experience includes working with SEC registrants in the financial services and public utility industries to assess key performance indicators, analyze financial risk, evaluate internal controls for improvement, prepare financial statements and provide audit services. Mr. Duffy earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Syracuse University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois and New York. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
